Let’s just get this out-of-the-way up front: you’re right!  We are absolutely on the take and getting comped for anything we like, favor, or review positively, and we are just as equally pocketing cash, product, or the souls of puppies (or whatever else alleged) from the competitor of anything you like that we don’t shower with the effusive praise you are expecting and insist on.

Rest assured that for every item we discuss, a mighty cheer is heard throughout these gilded-with-love halls as we record the bank transaction you’ve envisioned.

Sure, we realize a few of you are actually interested in some discerning, dare we even say meaningful, discussion of the various topics we may look into, but for the most part it’s all about the endless-rewards the effort and hours are sure to result in! ka-ching!

We know we could vastly increase the already substantial haul by opining on whatever momentarily rises to the top of the pop culture heap as the collective interest in [your current item–célèbre] darts about like a meerkat on-guard for the latest praise, slander, or tidbit [meer-bit?], no matter how unsubstantiated, reactionary, or premature.

And maybe like so many sites out there, we will should do that; familiar, boring, and easily forgettable.

But instead, we’ll take our time, and offer a few thoughts on select items for the sharp-eyed reader, and hopefully entertain, inform, and maybe, just maybe, have some fun along the way…
